Could be a loose or worn strut or strut mount
A bump is not bad. It is just an area of swelling. If it was a hard blow or you passed out at all.
one possible cause is struts can be weak causing tire to hop up and down when hitting a bump in the road!! And also tire could be out of balance.
a similar question earlier indicated that it may be a suspension problem and should be checked immediately.
You have a loose electrical connection.
You need a steering stabalizer and if you have one it may need to be replaced.

Suspension mounting rubber needs replacing.
Common causes could be a bent rim, loose lugnuts, wheel balance weights missing. If equipped, broken ball joint(s), broken tie-rod ends or broken half shaft bearings. Best bet, get the car to the mechanic.
