it can be several things. First start by checking your spark plugs and wires to make sure they are in good working condition,check spark plugs to make sure they are set to factory specs. also check ignition coils and ignition module( plate). If all of those items are working correctly, check your intake manifold,and harmonic balance sensor.
On the frame, ahead of the right rear wheel. Follow the gas line from the tank forward ... you can't miss it .... a large bulbous unit.
