Tension headache can result when muscles stay tensed or in a state of spasm for too long. The pulling in your face may be a focal Dystonia and you should see a movement disorder specialist for proper diagnosis. Focal Dystonia can be treated and result in lessening of headache, but it must be diagnosed by someone who knows what it is. The somewhat rare nature of this disorder means many doctors cannot diagnose it properly. A movement disorder specialist has had extra training in diagnosis and treatment of these disorders.
You are describing a typical tension headache, but there may be more to the story than that. For best results, see a headache specialist for proper diagnosis and treatment, as any headache lasting a month is cause for concern.
There is no "best time". Teeth extraction knows no "month". If it has to be done, then do it. Who cares what month it is? Your dentist doesn't.
Where do you live and where have you traveled to in the past month. You most likely do not have it. What about a fever?
Not necessarily. If we talk about the first month you usually have no symptoms.
When I started taking Lexapro I had a constant headache. My doctor told me that was a 'normal' side effect of the drug and it would subside in a few weeks. For me it took about a month to be headache free. To me it was worth it because I chose the headache over the constant sadness. I also suffer from migraines and the Lexapro headache was not debilitating like migraines so I stuck it out and the headache went away. The headache returned after I increased the dosage to 20mg and it took about 3 weeks to adjust.

Headache for an extended period of time are a prime example of a very good reason to be seen by your doctor or headache specialist. A diagnosis is necessary to begin appropriate treatment, as some headache types are known to "transform" and become chronic the longer the patient has the symptoms/pain.
