Possibly a broken motor mount? Depends what kind of vibration you are feeling
Have you checked the tires for blisters?
What is the angle of difference between the transmission tail shaft and the drive shaft?
Has the drive shaft been balanced?
Normally this is caused by a tire out of balance or a bent wheel.
two possibilities: loose motor mounts or contaminated gasoline. In addition, if you are saying it shakes going down the road at around 55 mph then you may have a tire out of balance, or a bent wheel.
Tires may need to be balanced.
Tire our of balance or bent wheel. Have your tires rotated and balanced.
problem with your transmission in 5th gear
The first thing I would check is for broken motor mounts. This causes the vibration around 40-45 mph. There is a service / recall bulletin about this at Kia.
i would really like to know myself
possibilityThe car is out of alignment or you have a wheel out of balance.
Tires out of balance, bent wheel, or defective tire.
have your front tires rebalanced.
Hello, That shake you are concerned about, it could be defective tyres, tyre balance needs checking, maybe a collapsing wheel bearing, front shock absorbers need replacing. Have a mechanic check the front end to see whats the problem. Peter. could just have water in one of the tires if your vehicle doesn`t shake at slow speeds but does at higher..
Most common reason is improperly balanced wheels, next would be alignment but that usually causes a pull to the left or right.
