It is pretty common for puppies to have a little blood here and there although it shouldn't last more than a day, and shouldn't be a lot of blood, although if it is straight blood it could be a serious problem. Many things can cause blood in the stool. Parvo is a horrible highly contagious disease that is being seen more and more often lately and blood can be in the stool along with liquid diarrhea. It can also be caused by something they ate, puppies eat lots of things we sometimes never know about. If the blood lasts longer than a day or is constant take your puppy to the vet right away.
