usually there is a blown head gasket or warped head to get water in a cylinder
You possibly have a leak in the cylinder head gasket. You possibly have a leak in the head gasket.
Mostly caused by the engine over heating, however the signs are similar to a bad gasket and water dries up in the radiator without any visible leaks.
Most often that indicates the presence of water or coolant in the combustion chambers. Common causes are head gasket leaks, intake gasket leaks, warped head/s or warped intake.
Those are signs of a blown head gasket or a cracked cylinder head.
There are several things that cause overheating. The most common: Thermostat stuck in the closed position; low coolant level; water/antifreeze mix incorrect; hoses with leaks; clogged radiator; faulty water pump. Other more serious: blown head gasket; cracked cylinder head.
A common cause of problems in cylinder head gaskets is leaks in the gasket. When a leak forms, the gasket must be replaced.
Overheating will blow the head gasket and/or warp the cylinder head. In the worst scenario, the cylinder head probably cracked and allowing water to get into the piston(s) which is probably why the vehicle won't start. If you are going to do the work yourself, be sure and take the cylinder head to a machine shop and have it pressure tested for leaks and also have it resurfaced.
A blown head gasket or a cracked cylinder head. Or a cracked oil cooler ( if equipped )
rotted out headgasket and/or warped cylinder head . Aluminum head sensitive to no water in the engine. If it's just the headgasket it's not a big deal on a 4 cylinder datsun engine
generally white smoke means water or antifreeze is entering the cylinder wich means either a blown head gasket or corrosion damage in head water jacket causing leak into cylinder
A cracked/warped head, Blown head gasket, cracked cylinder wall, or cracked/warped intake manifold.
