Flooding or Hurricanes.
1) it rains! 2) WATER!
In gereral, flooding accurs when the clouds in the sky, which are made up of condesation water, gets to heavy and precipitation water pours out. The more clouds, the more rain, the more flooding.
the causes of flooding in India are because when it floods all the water goes into their sacret river which is called the Ganges River they bathe, wash clothes, and drink the water and when it floods it messes up the river more
Backwater flooding happens when there is an obstruction downstream that causes the water further upstream to rise over the banks and into the landscape. An ice jam or channel restriction can cause backwater flooding.
Flooding changes Earth's surface.Seasonal changes in rainfall or snowfall cause flooding. Most floods usually happen in the spring. A very snowy winter or a sudden warm spell causes extra water to enter a river. When this water reaches the lowlands, it spills over the riverbanks. Hope I helped. :)
Some people think that the the wind causes the most problems, but actually it's the rain. Because the rain causes flooding, erosion, and homes lost while the wind causes homes to be blown over and push the water.
A hurricane causes coastal flooding. None of the other are directly related to flooding at all.
Heavy rain causes flooding when the amount of water that falls exceeds the capacity of the ground to absorb it, leading to excess water runoff. This excess water can then accumulate in low-lying areas such as rivers, lakes, and streets, causing flooding. Factors such as the intensity and duration of the rainfall, as well as the soil conditions and existing drainage systems, can all contribute to the likelihood and severity of flooding.
Flooding can be caused by heavy rainfall, rapid snowmelt, hurricanes, tropical storms, dam failures, or blocked water drainage systems. Urbanization and deforestation can also contribute to flooding by increasing the amount of runoff and reducing the land's ability to absorb water.
A Hurricane, because a Hurricane starts on water then off of the water into the land.
