Either you're sunburned or you're skin is very dry. If you're burnt, try aloe vera. If you're skin is dried out, try a lotion made for indoor tanners that has hemp seed ( a very rich natural moisturizer) in it and you should be better in no time!

Some people get heat bumps from tanning, which will go away over time, or if they really bother you, a dermatologist can prescribe you a cream to put on it. Some people also break out in bumps from the beds because they are allergic to the sanitizer used to clean the beds. If the bumps are all over, its likely the sanitizer in which case you should just wipe the bed down with a wet towel before your session.

yes, tanning does get rid of bumps but it is not always good for you. Only go to the booth for a few minutes at a time and only a few times a week. Don't go all the time!!! If you want to get really tanned then go for a spray tan. But for the little glow and to get rid of the bumps the tanning bed is good.
