Possibly TMJ going on. This is very common. I see my chiropractor right after having dental work done, he makes sure the TMJ is not gong to be a problem. I also see my chiropractor an hour before a dental appt if I am having brace adjustment, bite splint or molds made, it makes sure the work is correctly lined up.
I have the TMJ and wear a night splint.
MAKE SURE YOUR DENTIST IS TOLD ABOUT THE PAIN.

Some probable causes of numbness in the face and jaw in otherwise healthy people can include trigeminal neuralgia, stroke, and a dislocated jaw. To rule out serious causes, see your doctor immediately.
Compression of what nerve causes facial numbness from the upper palate to the eye on one side of face only? Probably the trigeminal nerve. It causes a condition called Bell's palsy. If your one eye is drroping and your smile droops on the same side, go to the doctor. There is treatment for this and it won't be permanent. Some doctors now think this is caused by a virus and may give you Valtrex and /or steroids, short term.
Sharp pains in the left temple may need to be addressed by a doctor if they persist. Especially any pain that causes numbness in the face or neck should be checked out.
When your jaw isn't in the right position or you have joint and/or muscle strain
Not always. Sometimes teeth hurt in conjunction with another disease, such as sinuses or angina, and this causes the face to hurt as well, but a simple cavity would localize the pain to just the mouth, not parts of the face.
Yes
Yes, you can get arthritis in your Temporomandibular Joint (jaw joint).
There are several things that could cause one sided numbness in the face & head. You should talk to you doctor about it if it doesn't resolve itself. It could be a very mild form of Bell's Palsy (which is usually temporary and goes away on its own), which itself can have many possible causes. Basically, if it doesn't go away, talk to your doctor!
