Many females get unnecessary hysterectomies because they were never appropriately diagnosed and thus never knew the simple ways they could treat the condition. Not knowing that a person has a mild bleeding disorder can also leed to many complications if the person has surgery or gets in an accident.

∙ 17y agoHigh blood pressure can cause sporadic nosebleeds - a trip to the doctor will rule out this possibility. As well dry air or an injured nasal membrane can cause repeated nosebleeds. Applying petroleum jelly inside the nostrils will ease this condition.

A dry climate or heated indoor air irritates and dries out nasal membranes, causing crusts that may itch and then bleed when scratched or picked. Colds may also irritate the lining of the nose. Bleeding may occur after repeated blowing. When you combine a cold with dry winter air, you have the perfect formula for nosebleeds.
