The most likely guess is recurrance of the Strep. There are quite a few strains of Strep that are paritally or completely resistant to normal antibiotics -- see Methacillin Resistant Stapphlocuccus epidermis (MRSE) or Methacillin Resistant Stapphlocuccus aureus (MRSA) The same can apply to Streptococcus. Give a call to the Doctor Who prescribed for you the first time, and tell him it didn't work. He may want to see you, buyt he'll certainly prescribe something else.
