The speed sensor is probably defective.
Probably a bad front wheel bearing/hub assembly with the abs sensor in it
Bring to a shop that has an "ABS" scanner to determine the problem
Those lights stay on when there is a malfunction in the ABS or traction control system. You need to have the system checked for codes with a scan tool.
The computer resets itself. as for the ABS-Traction control-Tire Pressure... the ABS sensors on the wheels get information for your ABS, traction control and your tire pressure monitoring system, if the ABS has a problem, it disables itself along with the traction control and the tire monitor. You have a problem with your ABS system..get it checked out
Could be any one of many reasons. Have your local auto parts store read the ABS/Traction Control codes. They will help determine what your next step will be.
Usually the ABS and traction control off lights will come on
it could be abs break unit
Pull the ABS fuse located in the engine bay. This disables both traction control and ABS. The lights on the dash will stay illuminated because of the missing fuse.
Check to see if all the wires are connected at the abs sensors especially at the rear wheels ---- Sounds pretty weird, but a typical brake job does not normally have anything to do with the ABS system / warning lights. The combination of ABS & Traction Control warning lights is a key indicator that one of the wheel sensors has failed. See "Related Questions" below for more specifics regarding the ABS sensors.
The traction control/ABS system detects a problem with the system. Your local auto parts store can read the TC/ABS codes for you at no cost. The codes will help pin point what the problem is then you can determine the next step to correct it. As long as the TC/ABS light is on the system won't function should you need it.
Because your brakes don't work and you need to fix your car smart guy.
The TRACTION warning is usually caused by a problem in the ABS system. See the link TRAC WARNING DESCRIPTION link below.- TechJK ------------------------
