A new moon occurs when the moon is positioned between the Earth and the sun, with the side of the moon facing Earth in darkness. This alignment causes the side of the moon illuminated by the sun to be hidden from view, resulting in a dark night sky with no visible moon.
When the moon is new, the sun is shining on the far side (that we ca'nt see) leaving the side we can see in darkness. This obviously happens when the moon is more or less between the Earth and the sun. When this coincidence between the three bodies is exact, and the shadow of the moon falls on the Earth, there is a solar eclipse.
When the Moon is "new", it is very near to the Sun in the sky, and the side of the Moon that is illuminated by the Sun is facing AWAY from the Earth. So between the darkness of the "dark side of the Moon" and the brilliance of the Sun in the sky, it is nearly (but not totally!) impossible to see the "new" Moon.

A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, blocking the Sun's light. This alignment causes the Moon to cast a shadow on Earth, creating partial or total darkness during the eclipse.
sand + eel = moon
No. The rotation of the moon has no influence on daylight or darkness. It's the rotation of the earth that does it.
A new moon occurs when the moon is positioned between the Earth and the Sun, with the side of the moon illuminated by the Sun facing away from Earth. This alignment causes the side of the moon we see from Earth to be in shadow, making it appear as if there is no visible moon in the night sky.
No. It causes and eclipse, so it is darker, but not actually night time. Like on Earth, night on the moon is when the a part of the Moon is not facing the Sun. A solar eclipse on Earth, which is caused by the Moon casting a shadow on Earth, causes darkness, but not night time. A solar eclipse can only happen during day time.
Absolutely.
A no moon night is called a new moon night because, during this phase, the moon is positioned between the Earth and the sun, making it largely invisible from our viewpoint. This alignment prevents sunlight from reflecting off the moon's surface, resulting in no visible illumination. The term "new moon" signifies the beginning of a new lunar cycle, marking the transition from darkness to the waxing phases of the moon.
They really don't effect it at all....... if you knew what the eclipses are, you would know that they are caused by the moon itself. The moon rotates itself to where it is in front of the section of the sun that is facing the earth and causes darkness for a short period of time.
