It depends on far it is from the sun like because Pluto is very far away from the sun it is very cold and Mercury is the first planet closet to the sun it s very hot, that is why some people think there is life on mars.

the extreme temperature on the planets vary and the planets where global warming is prevelant ozone layer will be depleted or spoiled which makes to feel extreme temperature.

2. The planets where there is a some amount of water and oxygen there will be more amount of temperature

I presume that the cause is the different distances from the Sun. The closer, the hotter.

It's mainly the big difference in their distances from the Sun. Those close to the Sun are hot, those further away are colder.

What causes extreme temperature on different planets of solar system?

Because of the rock and carbon dioxide

What are the average temperatures on the planets in your solar system?

It depends on which solar system.

Why are Mercury and Venus different from the other planets in the Solar System?

They have no moons. They are also the two planets with the hottest surface temperatures (Venus slightly hotter). In their orbits, the two are the only planets "inferior" to Earth (closer to the Sun).

What does other planets have inside them?

In our solar system all the planets (and Sun) formed from one collapsing nebular. Therefore all the planets have the same stuff inside them. The differences between planets is caused by the differences in their outer layers as the planets formed at different distances form the Sun where the temperatures gradients allowed the condensation of different compounds. When you consider Xenoplanets, we do not know hat they are made of exactly yet.

Are the planets after Pluto in a different solar system?

Yes because Pluto is no longer in our solar system and the planets after Pluto are not in our solar system

How are asteroids different than planets?

planets are apart and help are solar system and asteroids hit are planets

Are there any gas planets in our solar system?

Yes, there are four gas planets:JupiterSaturnUranusNeptuneThe other four planets are known as terrestrial planets. The gas giants in our Solar System are also called the outer planets because they are the four planets in the Solar System furthest from the Sun. Gas planets are a category of planets without any solid metals or rock. Gas planets are also referred to as gas giants, giant planets, and Jovian planets. Since gas planets do not have a solid surface, you would not be able to walk on them. Gas planets are said to have a rocky center; however, that term is somewhat misleading. Scientists believe that due to the high temperatures and extreme pressures in the center of gas planets their rocky centers are actually liquid metal or rock. Thus, the density of the gas planets simply increases as you go deeper to the center.

What would happen if the sun was the size of a city?

Our solar system might have been totally different to the the one we have. The sun has gravitational forces that pull the planets while they revolve around it. If the sun was smaller, then the planets would have much smaller too. The temperatures generated by the sun on the planets might not have been sufficient to sustain life either.

Why are inner planets of solar system different from outer planets?

Because the inner planets are made of rock but the outer planets are made of gas(except for Pluto).

How are the planets different from the solar system?

The planets and their moons are part of the solar system, along with the Sun, the asteroids, the comets, the Trans-Neptunian objects and the Oort cloud.

What is the different between ordinary planets and dwarf planets?

ordinary planets are a big part of the solar system dwarf planets aren't that important they are considered like stars or asteroids but mainly dwarf planets

What is an object that different on other planets in the solar system?

Weight & gravitational force
