I have no idea, but mine is peeling like an orange. Its dark green and the roof and hood have peeled badly!

It's called delamination. Alot of car companies through the 80's and up until the mid 90's would apply a coating to the car bodies to inhibit rusting. Instead of putting a primer on top of it they were using that coating as the primer. Paint needs a good primer to stick to. In just a few years, the paint would start to peel off the coating. sometimes in sheets.
Improperly prepped surface, and or incompatible material overlays such as water based paint on enamel or vise versa.
Nine times out of ten? Moisture under the surface of the paint. Unless the moisture problem is cured, the finest paint will "peel" over time.

It depends on the base of the paint. If it's an ordinary house paint, you should be able to peel it off.
If you have painted latex over oil based it will peel of very quickly.

If the door was recently painted, an improper priming job can explain why the paint is now starting to bubble and peel. In order to have a flawless paint job, all old paint and debris must be completely removed from the surface.
