I am looking for the same issue for a 1991 F350. So far it looks to me like it is: 1.) A fail-safe that the dash lights go out to let you know a tail light is out. 2.) A bad headlight switch (I keep running across people saying a common problem is for the tan and white wire behind the switch to melt). I am off to the parts store to see if we can get ours fixed. I hope this helped. Goodluck! : )
What fuse is for the 2005 Ford mustang Rear Brake lights?
can someone help me I can't find where the fus is for brake lights and what is the amp number for a dodge straus 2005
There is a small switch just above the break peddle that controls the lights.
most times if brake lights are stuck on you have a bad brake light switch on pedal under dash
what number fuse for the break lights
Brake lights? Check brake light switch for adjustment or replacement
Check the DRL
Check the brake switch under your pedal (which needs to be pushed when the brake pedal is depressed). This is what the problem was on my friends Sentra. As long as you have checked the lights and fuses, this should do it.
Change the lightbulb.
Usually, the panel has fuses that are individually marked. This helps mechanics or automotive electricians know what each fuse is used for. On a 2005 Ford Econoline, the fuse for brake lights is fuse number 34.
check the fuse that's if the bulb is not burnt out.
Regardless of vehicle make, model, or age, when vehiclcle brake lights remain on when the brake pedal is not depressed, the cause is that the linkage between the brake system and the switch is improperly adjusted, OR less commonly, a defective switch.
