There are a few places water can enter. A crack in the block, or head are always possible. The intake gasket, or head gasket are normally the problem.
On that year engine you can BET on it being the INTAKE Gasket. It is 99% every time the intake. Don't fool with the heads there okay. Just replace the intake gasket AND be sure to get the up dated gasket, It will be a thick heavy black one. Also check the 4 corners of the intake where the gasket fits REAL GOOD for were. Then clean and replace the oil and filter and you will need to change it all again in about 10 mins of running time. You may get lucky and not have hurt the engine bearings and THAT DEPENDS on how SOON you notic the water in the oil. Good luck with it.
