Their status as celebrities does not stop them from being religious therfore if they have lead a religious life there is no reason why this should not be acceptable.
Johnny Rotten--(really!)
I've noticed alot of famous people are religious, but they are famous so they might just be gratefull and hence believe in God. But alot of people look up to them while they don't have it as good. So do you think celebrities who are religious now, would otherwise not be religious?
Who knows, There is no religious reason why Christians should have their penis mutilated with circumcision
It may be easier if you just give us a list of celebrities you would like to know about. A true list of celebrities is ten's of thousands of names, across many cultures and countries. Can you narrow it down a bit for us?
There is no specific collective noun for celebrities. Since celebrities are people, it's appropriate to use a collective noun used for people that applies to the situation; for example a crowd of celebrities, a team of celebrities, a collection of celebrities. You can also be creative, for example a glittering of celebrities, a swarm of celebrities, a celebration of celebrities, a plague of celebrities, etc.

For religious Sikhs their biggest influences would be the guru's and the Guru Granth Sahib and they hold high respect for the Granthi's and the elders because they are usually wiser. For non-religious Sikhs it is usually the same as above, but they are also influenced by celebrities and TV

A:We do know that religious belief is on the wane all around the world, other than in Africa and South America, but we need not jump to conclusions as to the reasons for this. A gradual movement away from religion has been apparent for more than two hundred years, gathering pace from the 1960s onwards. The evidence for a 'cult of celebrity' is mixed. There are celebrity evangelists who seek to encourage religious belief, sometimes arguably at the expense of religious values. There are celebrities of stage and screen, as well as celebrity sportspeople, but there is no good evidence that people who follow or admire these celebrities have lost their religious beliefs or religious values. In my view, the loss of religious values is an inevitable consequence of a changing society and the greater willingness of people to question doctrine. It is not significantly the result of any 'cult of celebrity'.
