Best Answer

Sikhism was founded on the teachings of Nanak and the 9 succeeding gurus. Nanak lived in the late 15th century. He was born in 1469 and died in 1538. When Nanak was 30 he went missing for 3 days. When he returned he answered any question by saying, "There is no Hindu, there is no Muslim." This was the beginning of Sikhism.
