If you have cable, and live in the USA then it is on channel 17 in the morning.
I believe so because new Thomas and Friends books are mostly pre-ordered when a new movie is in production, but this movie might be all CGI. Of course it's going to be CGI. Because their is a promotional poster on Youtube founded by 'TidmouthSheds' with a CGI Thomas and a CGI Hiro who is going to be introduced in this movie and he is from Japan. And also the other two engines that are to be introduced this year in Season 13. Here is YT link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsTDGbJRAKk
"Thomas & Friends" switched to CGI animation in 2009 to modernize the series and appeal to a new generation of viewers. The transition allowed for more dynamic storytelling, enhanced visual effects, and greater flexibility in character movement compared to traditional model animation. This change also aimed to keep the show relevant in an increasingly digital and visually sophisticated media landscape. Ultimately, CGI helped to refresh the franchise while maintaining its core charm.

There is going to be a Season 17 of Thomas, and it will have the same writing style as the Railway Series, the show's basis. There will also be a Season 16 to introduce the narrow gauge engines in full CGI. Season 16 will air Fall 2011 and Season 17 Spring 2012.
