i think it can be used for thermoset moulding and electro-chemical ethching. by okiemute ohwahwa from nigeria.
I believe the term "fossil fuels" is used for things that burn, in a chemical reaction - like coal and petroleum. Also, "fossil fuels" implies that the fuel is the remainder of fossils - as is believed to be the case with petroleum and coal.I believe the term "fossil fuels" is used for things that burn, in a chemical reaction - like coal and petroleum. chemical change doesn't apper outside easily as it is change in the chemical property of the element or the experiment done, specific methods can only be used to detect the chemical change for the substance under observation.
You need big buff legs to mine coal
it comes from lava

Petroleum and coal are largely used in chemical industry or as fuels.
Coal does not get refined. Oil gets refined, but coal gets used as it is when it comes out of the coal mine. There is a process called coal gassification by which natural gas can be made from coal, but that is not really a form of refining, and in any event, most coal is simply burned, it is not gassified.
Coal is not produced it is mined (it is a natural resource/product). Coal is used (burned) as a source of enery and coal products (given off when coal is heated) are used in the chemical industry.

The older power plants used coal, but it polluted so much we try to use other methods.
Open cast and mining are the 2 used
Yes, when it is burned (oxidized in air), it releases the chemical energy stored within its chemical bonds.
"Clean coal" primarily from the Powder River Basin, is low in sulfur content compared to other coal sources, and therefor produces less SO2 when combusted. " Clean Coal Technologies" use chemical methods of "scrubbing" SO2 from exiting flue gasses before they can be released to the environment. One byproduct of this technology is gypsum which can be used in wall board for construction.
The term means a product similar to coal and mined the same way. Some is made by using coking oven from coal. Coal is cheaper and that is why it is used more often. Coke is cleaner and other methods should be looked into before coal and oil run out.
