You would use a full,or extra full choke if using 00buck for hunting purposes. If for self protection thats up to you.
i would go to the browning web site.Click on the customer service link and there should be a spot were you can research your browning citori lightning.
The value of a 12 gauge Browning Citori Pigeon Grade is actually dependent upon a number of factors. Some of these factors would be the age and condition.
Does not exist. The Citori did not start production until 1973.
Factory applied or after market? Factory applied would be great to know.
Compare it to one you know is real.
The choke you use depends on your target rather than the type of shotgun. For example: if you are shooting skeet, you would use improved or modified cylinder, but if you are shooting trap, you would use full choke.
The dog's eyes will pop out, with blood shooting everywhere, you will not be happy.why would you want to choke your dog anyways
Would not recommend using a full choke or even a 20 gauge, 12s are much better
Check the auction sites. A very broad price range, based on your description, would be 300-2000.
This project should be probable.I would have a competent gunsmith give you a quote for threading the barrel to except the Invector plus choke system.
In order to answer your question I would need to know if your shotgun is a auto-5,browning pump shotgun(BPS) or a over-under(CItori or superposed)to give you a accurate answer?
This gun was made in Japan in 1981. It is a Grade I Hunting model with 3" chambers. It has fixed chokes. As with all guns, value will depend on condition. This particular model was made before the invector choke system came out, therefore the value is less than later Citori's with more versatility. Value would probably fall between $600 and $1000 depending on condition. New in Box could command an extra premium.
