Habitat 67, a revolutionary housing complex in Montreal designed by architect Moshe Safdie, took approximately three years to build, with construction starting in 1964 and completing in 1967. The project was initially conceived as part of Expo 67, a world's fair celebrating Canada's centennial. Despite its rapid construction, the design and planning phases took several years prior to the actual building process.
During Expo 67 in Montreal, it is estimated that around 200 children were abandoned. Many of these children were left by their parents who were unable to care for them amid the event's overwhelming atmosphere and the influx of visitors. The situation highlighted the challenges of the time, including social issues and economic difficulties faced by families. The abandoned children were eventually taken in by local authorities and placed in care facilities.
it is '67, not 67' and it is also 1967.the ' symbol takes the place of the 19 in the year 1967, to make it '67.Does that make sense?
67 - 9 = 58
