The church, the hardware store were filmed in Grosse Point and so was the closing scence, on Lakeshore Drive. The VFW bar was in Warren and the barber shop was in Royal Oak. There were also some smaller parts shot in different areas in Detroit but those laocations are where the majpority of the movie was filmed.
