RCA RP5430 has a large 104" display and it's in a soft blue, which makes it easier on eyes to adjust to see it, and it's large enough to view without glasses or when bleary eyed.
Generally speaking, all clock radios are designed so that you can see the numbers at night. You can also easily find a clock, like the Sony ICF-C492, that offers very large and bright numbers that will make it a little easier to read your clock at night.
Then you can see (on the clock) it's time to buy a new radio!

No. They are generally used to look at stars at night, because that's when it's easiest to see them. But some telescopes are used at sea and there's also a type of telescope called a radio-telescope that searches the stars for radio waves during daylight hours.
press it and you will see, it tells you the time.
,. .its under the hood under a cover. Its in a group of fuses, look under the cover & you will see their designations. . . it will be a 10 or 15 amp fuse. . & yes it is for both clock & radio. . if your radio works & the clock is still out, you will need a new radio. . .Good Luck. .

With the key on, turn the radio off and you will see the display on how to set the hours and minutes.
You didn't describe the type of clock radio or age so the following are just guesses to apply to your situation. Unplug the radio from the wall. If the noise still persists, it isn't the radio, but something else around the radio. Is the clock and old fashioned mechanical clock. If so it could be the clock motor. The radio could still be on when you think it is off. This is possible in some models where the on/off switching is electronic rather than mechanical. There is something living inside the clock radio. Sound will persist even when unplugged. There is a strong electromagnetic field in vicinity of radio which is causing a resonance frequency in the radio electronics even when off. Move the radio to another part of house and see if sound changes.
It depends entirely on which (factory installed) radio you have. The instructions are different for each one. My suggestion would be to GOOGLE the words "Ford Focus clock" and see what results you get. Of course if you have an "after-market" radio you'd have to follow theinstructions for the suppliers particular radio.
I have set my 1998 Windstars clock by having the radio on, pushing the clock button down while using scan up and down for hours and minutes. There are likely to be a couple different clock / radio combinations - the Owners Manual for your van will have the steps for each one. See "Related Questions" below for more
