The traditional attire of the women of Arunachal Pradesh is a sleeveless chemise which is mainly worn with a jacket. The women generally wear attractive petticoat with a linen blouse. They wear 'Mushaiks' or waist cloth with embroidered full-sleeve jacket. The 'gurdam' skull-cap filled with hair of yak is the hallmark of the women of Arunachal Pradesh which makes the entire look very charismatic. One of the most common fashion accessories worn by them are silver rings and earring which are generally made from bamboo-bits and come embroidered with different color beads.
