Clothing: Information on the clothing during the times of Jesus came mainly from the Scriptures and illustrations found over time. The clothing between the males and females were quite similar, although the Lord commanded that each sex had a to wear a different form of clothing. It was made clear to wear clothes to suit their gender. The main styles of clothing wore by men included: • An inner tunic • The tunic coat • Belt or Girdle made of leather • The cloche or mantle – a robe • Headdress – for protection from the sun • Shoes – soft leather or Sandals – hard leather. The main styles of clothing worn by women include: • The inner tunic • Outer Tunic • Belt or Girdle – made from colourful silks • The Cloche – long and durable, suitable for the cold weather • The Headdress – lighter and finer quality than the men headdress. • Shoes – soft leather or Sandals – hard leather.

Ecc. 9:8 "Let all your garments be white.

Rev 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. 5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

All through The Bible we are dressed in white robes and as the "children of God" we obey God not man Acts 5:29. If your interested in wearing white robes the commitment and humbling yourself to God contact the children of God at www.cofGod.org and tell them you want to wear the clothes that Jesus wore and they will share their sources with you.
