Christianity includes a couple billion people. We are not dressed any one way. Christians appear in bikinis and long dresses. Suits and shorts. Briefs or boxers. Never any burkhas though.

Fortunatly for us - the dress code is not a sacrement for salvation for 99% of denominations. While conservative dress is the norm, I have been to church services with very liberal was the norm.

There is common dress - conservative for the culture that happens about the area. But there is no codified dress code unless you dig deep in The Bible and even then it is just do not overdo it.

Again under the grace that is Christ - we are not attempting to earn salvation with our obedience to the standard. Christ was sacraficed in our place (to blot out the handwrting against us).

Some denominations do have a standard dress code. The Amish. Minonnites. Conservative parts of mormonism. By and large you could not pick a Christian out of a crowd normally by his or her dress. We blend in very well.
