No, I highly doubt any factory requires a college degree. It's generally unskilled labor (think about all the child labor that goes on in the world).

There are many, many roles in a factory that will require advanced education. These skills will depend on the type of factory and its production / product. As an example a food factory requires highly skilled people to work in the development, hygiene and quality management departments

If the factory used robots, it would not need workers and therefore if you are a worker in a factory you would not need training in a factory that used robots because you would not be needed to work in that factory.
