Yes
Cheerleading was invented in 1898 by Johnny Campbell.
We are still researching. All I know is that cheerleading was not created by a female, but a male. The male called his squad yell-leaders. The reason he called his squad that is because they had a mega-phone and they would yell out quotes. This was then in the 1930s when yell-leaders were created by a male. Yell-leaders did not do any back-flips, or the splits. They yelled. Duhh. So cheerleaders are very, very, verry different. This is all I got. I hope you learned a lot about yell-leaders.

Well I dont think theres just a womens cheerleading because a man (Johnny Campbell) was the first person to start cheering.
Cheerleading began in 1898 Johnny Campbell had the bright idea to organize a six-member group of yell-leaders to raise spirit. The first all-star cheer team was 1983 by Hilda McDaniel and did you know women were allowed to cheer only in 1923?
Dakota spirit is a cheer organization is Sioux Falls South Dakota! I cheerlead for them. It is a very safe nice inviroment to be in. There is 15 cheer teams. There will probably be more. It is the first competitve cheer leading organization outside of high and college school competitive cheer in South Dakota. There is over 300 talented girls, who put in a lot of hard determination into the routines we put together.
