Brady
If we are considering pro football only, Manning's winning percentage (regular season) is 66.0% (105-54 according to Manning's biography on Wikipedia). Tom Brady has a considerably better winning percentage (regular season) (at 78%, 85-24, again according to Brady's biography on Wikipedia). Add in the playoff stats and Brady, the all-time winning percentage leader among quarterbacks, is even more impressive. Brady is 12-2 in the playoffs, while Manning is 7-6. Peyton is well down the list in winning percentage - Staubach is second to Brady at 74.6%, while Joe Montana is 71.3% - both regular season.
Aaron Rogers has the highest winning percentage at 67.226% followed by Ben Roethlisberger at 66.863%.... just .363 percent lower. Note, Roethlisberger has played 50 more games than Rogers and still has a really high winning percentage.
This list probably requires a qualifier of minimum number of NFL starts to be meaningful, so lets call it a minimum of 80 starts (or 5 years as a starter). Under this limitation, Tom Brady currently has a record of 103-28 (as of Oct. 8, 2009) which equates to a winning percentage of 78.6%. Joe Montana, who had a career record of 133-54, is next with a 71.1% winning record.
There have been a lot of great quarterbacks-- Joe Montana, John Elway, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning. However, the legendary Otto Graham, who played for the Cleveland Browns in the 1950s and 60s holds the record for the highest winning percentage by a starting quarterback. He won 81. 4% of his games.
Frank Reich, Gifford Nielsen, Glenn Presnell, and Bill Wade are all undefeated as post-season quarterbacks; all at 1-0, except Reich, who is 2-0. Out of QBs that started at least 10 postseason games, Bart Starr is best at 9-1 (90%)
