The Southern Colonies
Maryland was founded in 1634 by a group of English Catholics who could not practice their religion in England. Their leader was Lord Baltimore. Baltimore sent about 300 settlers to the colony. Their settlement was called St. Mary's. Later the name was changed to Baltimore for their leader.
I have researched this for a homework assignment, and i have found only that it is part of the middle colonies and is both north AND south! this is confusing...
No, South Carolina is in the Southern Colonies.
First was Virginia in 1607, followed by Maryland in 1632. The colonies of North and South Carolina would not be formally established for almost another hundred years, in 1729. S. Graham-Shockley

Koalas are native to Australia. They are found throughout the states of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. European settlement resulted in their extinction in South Australia, but they have been reintroduced to parts of South Australia, where colonies are thriving. Small colonies have also been introduced to the southeast corner of Western Australia. Koalas are not found in either Tasmania (Australia's island state) or in the Northern Territory.
The middle colonies! Specifically, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Their religion developed differently from that found in other Spanish colonies, and their settlements were far from the larger Spanish colonies to the south. All of the above (Apex)
