Red, 5 year, HOAT type.
i believe you can put the antifreeze anywhere in a jeep
Half an half
In the coolant reservoir up by the firewall.
Red
Gm Dex Cool or equivalent. The red color antifreeze.
The bottle on the firewall with the radiator cap on it is where you add coolant.
That all depends on what kind of antifreeze was in there before. It comes stock with the green color. but if there is another color in there now either put the same color in or flush the whole system and put the desired type in there. If you mix colors your system will become clogged with antifreeze jello :(
Chevy says that the orange antifreeze STOPS corrosion and cools better then any other color. That is still to be proven to me. You can put ANY color you want too in it as long as you don't MIX the colors. There is a type of antifreeze that they sell and say you can mix it with any color but I don't like that ideal. Put orange back in it if that's what is in it now. It is very HARD to get ALL of the antifreeze out of the system / ENGINE So you can change the color.
yes, to a degree. all forms of antifreeze that are for automotive use should be compatible tho. match the color you put in to the color you take out, or is in there already (green = plain Jane antifreeze, other colors = high life antifreeze)
red
No offense, if you don't know where to pour the antifeeze you probably shouldn't have a car at all.
the 88 has a 'closed system'... you fill it through the overflow resevior....
