all colors are necessary to make white because sunlight is white and when you hold something clear up to the light, it makes a rainbow of all colors
When you see a rainbow, you see seven different colors. Well the same thing appears in a rainbow wheel. When you spin the wheel, the colors combine and mix to make the color white. It's like a recipe. You add the seven colors of the rainbow and you make a white color. I hope this is the answer that you're looking for.
It makes white. If you take a color wheel and twirl it really fast (Newton Color Wheel) it turns into white, or off white-ish grey.
Grey/Gray is classified as a neutral color- the product of black and white when mixed in equal parts. Because the neutral colors are not included on the color wheel, they do not have complementary colors- that is, colors that sit opposite of each other on the color wheel.
The term used is pastel. It can be any light color. Remember that the colors on the color wheel are your basics. They are colors in their full strength and most times need toning down or some type of adjustment.
Brown, gray, white. To make neutral colors, you keep on mixing the complimentary colors like red and green to make that ruddy color.
Mixing all colors, including the hues of other colors, you would get Black. But, if you were to mix all the colors of Light, you would get White. People always get that mixed up.
