You don't want to "Match" . . . You want to coordinate.
Use burgundy, black and grey. Classic color combinations.
Wood tones also look fine.

not if you're using bright colors like lime green or hot pink. it actually looks cooler if bright colors are different. if you're using sophisticated colors like light pink or a non-bright red, it's best that they match. but that's just my opinion. also, never paint your nails to match your clothes. it looks better if they dont.
