By colour. It is red in both.
Purple
Cats, like dogs, can see some colours: They can tell the difference between red, blue and yellow, and between red and green, although these are less distinguishable. Cats are able to distinguish between blues and violets better than between colours near the red end of the spectrum. Colour is of little importance to cats. They hunt by the motion of their prey, not by its colour.
All cats fight at times, usually just in play. Ginger cats are no more likely to fight non-ginger cats than cats of any other colour.
It depends on the dad

It is thought that cats cannot see the color red. Cats seem to be able to distinguish between higher frequency colors, meaning cats respond to the colors purple, blue, green and possibly yellow range. Red, orange and brown colors appear to fall outside a cat's color range and are most likely seen as shades of grey or purple. Purple, blue and green appear to be the strongest colors perceived by cats. Tests suggest cats can distinguish between more shades or levels of gray than can humans.
Cats CAN see in colour, even though alot of people say they are colour blind. This is not terribly true, cats do not see bright colours, they see everything in a more pale hue. Yellow is their most responsive colour as it is still bright, blue will be virtually white and black almost grey ect. They have a keen sense of smell though.
It is difficult to say. Cats can indeed see limited colour, but it is thought that colour itself is of little importance to cats. A cat is more sensitive to movement of prey, or the smell or taste of food rather than what colour it is. Cats can tell the difference between red, blue and yellow, and between red and green, although these are less distinguishable. Cats are able to distinguish between blues and violets better than between colours near the red end of the spectrum.
