regardless the color it depends on the type of cat you get. youre not going to want an indoor Persian cat, but im guessing you don't want a wild/ or expensive cat. i just recommend going to the shelter and finding a fit cat (not fat, old, or too young) a playful one, and you might end up with a mouser. :)
Most domestic cats, no matter on their coat colour, are fed by their owners which purchase the food from the local pet shop or store. Some cats that have access to outside hunt and eat the prey they catch, such as mice and small birds.
Most all cats will hunt and consume mice .
Because Cats have Instincts. In the wild cats (such as tigers) have to hunt for their food. Most Cats (that share our homes with us) catch Bugs and mice. Its their Insticts to hunt. even though they are domesticated, they will always have some wildness in them :]]
they eat mice if you have mice. most are loveable, and if you like to cuddle, so will they..... mhm
Cats are natural hunters and can begin hunting and catching small prey like mice as early as 6-8 weeks of age. By around 6 months of age, most cats will have developed their hunting skills and instincts to effectively catch mice and other small animals.
Sometimes it may appear as if cats are playing with their prey, or in this case mice. And sometimes they are. However, most often they are actually making sure their prey can't hurt them, so they are stunning their prey before giving it the killing bite. The killing bite requires a swift bite to the throat, but this exposes the cat's neck and belly to the prey. To avoid possible injury, they "play" with their prey.
Some male cats do hunt mice, but it depends on the type of cat. Most cats try to hunt them but some just play with the mice to have a little time off their hands. All domoestic cats hunt mice, it's an instinct as most domestic cats are individual hunters, unlike Lions. I see why you would of thought that, with the behaviour of Lions, But most cats hunt alone. Of course, I don't think fully grown tigers hunt mice. Maybe babies of wild cats, but besides that, I think only domestic cats.yes, and trust me i have seen my cat eat plenty of mice.
Most cats, if they can catch a guinea pig, will kill them and eat them. Cats love to catch, kill and eat rodents, and guinea pigs are rodents.
Cats are predators. They are meant to catch anything that they identify as prey, a category that includes most rodents.
Mice are probably scared to death of cats, because cats hunt mice. Also, birds are most usually afraid of cats because cats also hunt birds.
cat and mice relationships are like battle tanks with wars they keep fighting. in the wild cats use to farm mice for food they are not always friends. if you wanted to test it. some other cats will come eat the mice still always keep mice away from cats. feral/other cats will come eat the mice.
Cats' predators are mostly dogs but a dog can be trained to like a cat. Not to be sarcastic or anything but most old men do like cats. Uhhhhhhmmmmm....??? Let's see. Um i don't know any other predators so im going to tell the prey. The prey are fish, and cat food. Only to some cats are mice prey. Cats don't eat mice! It's just a myth or something like that but uh most cats DO NOT eat mice!! OK im bored now so...... Le Poof!!
