Links Horse is named Epona in all Legend of Zelda games but you are aloud to change the name of your Horse in Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess.
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA Links horse's name is Epona
Epona is Link's noble horse. If you have found her you can summon her by playing epona's song with the ocarina. Or with a reed on twilight princess.
She is a girl
Link's horses name is Epona; the same horse in Ocarina of Time.
dash when your close to the gate and Epona will jump
Epona is the traditional name of the horse, such as in Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time. However, Twilight Princess gives you the option to rename your horse. While the answer above is true for Link's horse, throughout the series the name of Princess Zelda's horse has never been official; however in 'the Legend of Zelda' by Valiant comics Zelda's horse was named 'Storm'. This however is not considered canon.
I doubt it because Link comes from the sky in this game, but you never know Edit: No, Epona will not be available in Skyward Sword. I'm sorry all of you horse-lovers. Hope this helps, ~SLL
You can't.iknow that sucks. You must get Epona the Horse and jump over the bridge when you are in adult.
The following games you can get epona in Legends of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Adult Link) Majora's Mask (Adult Link) Twilight Princess Four-Swords Adventure (But only once in this game)
An Ocarina.
You can get the Horse Epona when you become big link, just head to Lon Lon ranch, with more than 70 rupees. Go and Talk to Ingo and he'll ask you if you want to ride a horse for 10 rupees, say yes then when you get in, play epona's song and ride epona. Do that again and go talk to Ingo on epona and he'll ask you to race, for 50 rupees, accept and race him, if you win, he'll challenge you again, if you win you keep epona. If you need some help, always stay to the inside and never use your last carrot! If you do, you'll lose for sure! Use one at the start, then pass him with the rest, but not the last. Use the carrot you get to stay in the lead. If you do, your sure to win!
