Saphira is the dragon that Eragon is bonded to and does not create a bad dilemma but she is the last hatched female dragon (the other females are unhatched in an underground cavern that no one knows about-Inheritance)
Eragon, Murtagh, Brom, Oromis, and Galbatorix are the ones that are alive in the series. The dragon rider for the last egg is not know, we will find out when the fourth and final book comes out.
Eragon was the first known Dragon Rider, besides Galbatorix after the fall, then they found Oromis, and Glaedr, then the last one to be seen is Murtagh and Thorn,
I think it was dragon riders anonymous
It is not said in any of the books, but Christopher Paolini said that the last dragon egg is green.
roran will be the new king, arya will be the new rider.
i dont believe he will. I personally believe that arya will get the final dragon egg for several reasons. first, her magic and her eyes are green, as well as the dragon egg. Second, at the end of Brisingr, she and eragon are talking about how they are alike, and that would make them more alike. and third, since the last dragon is male, that way eragon and arya can screw, and so can saphra and the green one ;).
The last dragon egg will hatch, Eragon will destroy Galbatorix (or not), and theory says that Eragon will leave Alagaesia forever. that last answer was exactly righ some one finally reads and understands what the books are saying
Alot of rumors that the last of the dragon eggs will hatch for either the varden or the empire and that it will be a green dragon who will take the sword tamerlein for his/herself
Brom is already dead in book 2, but he is a Dragon Rider whose dragon, Saphira, had been slew by Morzan, the first and last of the Forsworn. Brom's true identity was revealed as Eragon's father by Oromis. Brom slew 3 of the Forsworn and was responsible for another 5. Brom was the last of the elf-friends brfore Eragon.
It's Saphira. Murtagh explains it at the end of ELDEST the book. The last dragon egg is male, Murtagh also explains that. That's why Galbatorix doesn't want to kill Eragon or Saphira because he wants to 'renew the riders'. So if Saphira breeds, she will be the mother of an entire race. :)
In the resolution of "Eragon," Eragon defeats the antagonist, King Galbatorix, with the help of his dragon Saphira and other allies. Eragon establishes a new order for dragon riders and works towards rebuilding Alagaësia. He also leaves Alagaësia to train the next generation of riders, signaling a new beginning for the land.
