It's blue.
The color of the A button is green.

Hold the little button on the back of the controller, and hold the button that looks the same on the front of the Xbox for at least 5 seconds, then it should work.
You, try reassigning the controller. If you dont know how to, push the small button on top of the controller and do the same to the small button on front of the Xbox.
The only difference is color, so yes, you can use a regular controller with elite console
On the top of the control, near the left bumper, is a small button with arrows by it. Turn on the Xbox 360 (Pro, not Elite) and press the button on the controller. Next there is a button on the 360 that has those same arrows, it is near the disc tray. Push that button then wait a moment. This process is called synchronizing. What it does is take the connection to the controller from the Elite (black 360) and put it into the Pro (white 360). This can also be done with two Pros or two Elites.
On the front of the controller there should be a small button which you use to synchronize, hold down and the controller will synchronize to the nearest possible xbox 360, however you must also press a similar button on the front of the xbox 360 itself G.T. Felpsy
No, the Xbox 360 only accepts USB devices. You may be able to find an adapter somewhere to change the Xbox controller to USB, but for optimal quality, a wired or wireless Xbox 360 controller is necessary.
Yes the only difference between the controllers is the colour and the controllers will work vise-versa
Yes you can.
No.
Maybe you need to press the xbox guide button (big x button in the middle of the controller) to turn on the xbox and the controller or your controller is broken.
