Lemon juice will make your hair alighter shade than is already is or make its natural highlights stand out. Black hair won't change much and dark, dark brown hair might go browny redy.
lemon juice will turn your hair orange in colour as this technique is only used on already blonde hair to make it go blonder. I once tried this and ended up with orange hair so say with experience do not do the same!
Squeeze lemon juice in your hair; all over your hair! And go out in the sun. The lemon juice soaks up the sun more and it bleaches your hair faster.
No, it helps to make your hair shiny.
yes put lemon juice on your hair and go out in the sun :)
Answer Lemon juice is a natural hair lightener. It will give a more dramatic result in combination with the sun's ultra-violet (UV) rays. Cut two lemons in half, and squeeze either directly on to clean hair or into a spray bottle, which you can then use to apply the juice to your hair. If necessary, depending on hair length, use more lemons. After applying the juice, use a wide-toothed comb to help dispense lemon juice thouroughly through hair. Then let the hair dry. You wont need to spend any time in the sun as the acid in the lemon helps bleach the hair naturally. The process will need to be repeated a few times without the sun but a lighter shade will definitely be noticeable. Spending a couple of hours in the sun will brighten your hair faster. Remember to wear sun-protection lotion on any exposed skin. Even though lemon is acidic it also contains natural oils so it wont dry hair out too much. Using a good conditioner when washing the lemon out will restore softness and shine. This works best in the summer months, when the sun's light is most direct and the outdoor temperature is pleasant enough to stand for a few hours. And that is how you do it!! Bye
lemon juice does make your hair lighter. i wouldn't recommend you putting it on the head of your hair because it will damage the scalp and it will become irritating, dry, and itchy.
No, but if you put some lemon juice in your hair and go into the sun for a while, your hair will gradually get lighter. Then you can wash it out.
After you have washed your hair and it is damp, you put lemon juice on your hair and leave it on. To activate the lemon juice you need to go out into the sun so it is best to go on holiday to a hot country before you do this or it is pointless and just makes you hair smell nice and attract flies ;) good luck x
You don't. If you have Brown or Black hair it will not get blond with lemon juice. Second of all, don't pour lemon juice on your head. It has acid and will burn your scalp resulting to loss of hair (hair falling off your head) Grab a brush, dip it in some freshly squeezed lemon juice and brush it on your hair. Not your scalp. Only works if you have med-brown hair, and will not go blond. It will probably be a tint lighter.
No. It makes your hair orange. If you put lemon juice in your hair then sit in the sun it would go ginger... if you got Natural black hair... just go buy dye.. buy like a light brown dye and it would turn out meduim brown or dark brown depends on you hair..
I've done the lemon juice thing to highlight my hair and it works! but it only lasted about 2 months.
I have always been told by squeezing a lemon over your head and going out in the sun :D It doesn't always work, but watch your hair as you will need to make sure it doesn't react to the lemon juice and also depending on the lemon juice trails in your hair you may get a highlighted affect in streaks.
