vesta is the fourth asteroid to be discovered by mankind(1807).it is the third largest asteroid known to mankind(about 500 Km across) .it is located in the main belt of the asteroid belt.it is irregular in shape.it takes 3.632 years to orbit the sun with an average distance of about 353 million km.
This year there is an excellent return of 45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova. Southern
Hemisphere observers are likely to pick it up near opposition in July, when it is a 12th
magnitude object in Pisces Austrinus. It heads even further south, brightening rapidly
as it passes only 0.06 AU from the Earth on August 16, when it might be seen with the
naked eye. It passes through conjunction at the end of the month and fades a little, but
brightens again as it approaches perihelion at the end of September. UK observers get a
chance to see it between mid September and mid October, although it will be quite low
in the morning sky.
we can see the hally comet with the naked eye.
A 'naked eye' comet, such as Hale-Bop.
Halley's comet is visible every 76 to 79 years. the last appearance was during the 1980's
Mercury, Venus, mars, Jupiter and Saturn can all be seen from earth. They look like bright stars with the naked eye.
No comets are not visble on earth, every 76 years, only Halley's comet is only visible every 76 years
from earth, withouth a telescope.
Neptune is the only planet in our Solar System that requires a telescope to see it.All the others are visible to the naked eye.Pluto, which is still counted as a planet by many people, also needs a telescope.
Next appear in mid-2061
They can be visible from Earth without the aid of a telescope.
because the comet is so far away theat you cant see it without a telescope
Not without a telescope and detailed knowledge of where to look. They're tiny and not close to Earth.
It is too far away, too small, and doesn't,reflect enough sun light to make it visible without a telescope.
The next comet will be Comet Ison which will pass by the earth in 2013. It will be visible with lenses during late summer and will be visible to the naked eye by approximately November.
2061
There are 5 planets that are visible to the naked eye and can be seen without the aid of a telescope. These planets are Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.
No, Halley's comet was not visible in 1834. Halley's comet has an orbital period of about 76 years, so it was last visible from Earth in 1986 and will next be visible in 2061.
2061
Halley's comet is visible every 76 to 79 years. the last appearance was during the 1980's
