The brain stem is what connects the spinal cord to the rest of the brain. More specifically, the medulla oblongota is what directly connects it.

the uestion is not finished so i cannot say it is true but i do think that the brain does hold all senses .
There is no joint between brain and spinal cord. The spinal cord is a mass of neurones that is situated in the backbone which feeds in to the brain via neurones.

The cerebellum connects the cerebrum and the spinal cord.
We only use about 5 percent of our brain for senses. Research has shown that we do not use 100 percent of our brains. About 10 percent of our brain is not used.
