The positive change in the Irish economy that made it so good in the 90s up to the economic crash in 2008 is down to many things. Amongst these were money from the EU being spent wisely on infrastructure, international investment in jobs, a good education system, a good industrial relations structure to minimise disputes, reductions in taxation for business and workers, modern technology, a focus on certain kinds of industries and many other reasons.
