A Dual Shock 2 controller (I'm not making any promises).
I've used different types, so I'll go into detail. Boomerang controllers aren't good when your using the directional controls-- like when you press forward, it can also do down or diagonal-- 'nuff said. Arcade controllers aren't any better if you are used to the Dual Shock controller so the buttons would seem very alien to your hands. In conclusion, yes-- the Dual Shock is pretty good. It's small, and it's smart.
(Of course, if you think you can get used to using an arcade controller, go for it. But I recommend the good ol' Dual Shock. The arcade controllers are really expensive compared to normal controllers. Plus, it's only for Tekken.)
Yes, you can use the stick from the DualShock 2 controller to play Tekken 5 on the PS2. The DualShock 2 is fully compatible with the game, allowing you to use its analog sticks for character movement and other controls. However, many players prefer using an arcade stick for fighting games like Tekken for a better experience.
