Eye color is polygenic character i.e. it is controlled by at least 4 pair of genes. Such genes have additive effect and each dominant gene adds a dose of color to eye . blue eye color is produced by all recessive genes while dark black color by all dominant genes .
The genes inherited from both parents control eye and hair color.
The colors may not have shown up in the parents' generation but may have appeared in earlier generations. Recessive genes can be inherited through many generations before meeting up with a duplicate gene and finally showing up in the new generation. For instance, a blue eyed blonde can appear in a family of brown eyed brunettes.
The colors of human eyes is dependent up one's parents and grandparents. A child receives a chromosome from each parent, and these chromosomes each have DNA that include a gene that can determine the eye color.
you can inherit from your ansestors
Iris controls the amount of light entering into the eye.
The pupil controls the amount of light that enters the eye.
The visible, colored part of the eye that controls pupil dilation is the iris.
it is the pupil
The size of the eye's pupil controls that amount of light entering the eye and then falling on the retina. As a consequence the diameter of the pupil also controls the depth of field (how much in front of you is in focus) of the image. In bright light the pupil is small and the depth of field is wide. in dark condition the diameter of the pupil opens up and more light enters the eye but the depth of field is narrow.
The iris controls the size of the pupil. Which in turn, controls the amount of light entering the eye.
Eye trauma can damage the muscle that controls pupil size.
The pupil. However, as it is a hole, i.e. an absence of anything it seems odd to say it controls anything. The iris controls the size of the pupil and therefore the amount of light entering.
Iris controls the amount of light entering into the eye.
The cornea is the surface of the eye. It is completely transparent, as all light that enters the eye must pass through the cornea. If you look at a person's eye from the side, you will see some clear material covering the front of the eyeball. That is the cornea. The iris is what controls the amount of light let into the eye. It is what gives the eye its colour, and it is what actually controls the size of the pupil.
it squishes it until it becomes so small that the naked eye can't see it. (he he he) (naked)
The part of your eye that controlls your eye colour is called: The Iris
The pupil controls the amount of light that enters the eye.
IrisThe circular muscles of the iris expand and contract the pupil. The size of the pupil determines how much light will enter the eye, so the iris effectively controls the amount of light that is passed to the retina. The iris is also responsible for eye color (blue, brown, green, hazel). See the related link below for more information on the iris.
