Pacifica Miles are stored in the BCM.
If the rest of the cluster is functioning properly, the cluster has failed.
Engine, body, and cluster all store the mileage.

Nothing is wrong with the Chrysler Pacifica. It does have occasional problems with failure of the motor mounts on some years but other than that it is a pretty reliable vehicle. It does not get great fuel mileage with an average of 16 city 23 highway and combined 18 miles per gallon.
It is a mileage interval, not an inspection. If you have 100,000 miles then replace it.It is a mileage interval, not an inspection. If you have 100,000 miles then replace it.
If you change the cluster out it, will change to the mileage of the new cluster.
It has a belt. The 2004 model was only offered with the 3.5L engine. Chrysler recommends 1st inspection at 70,000mi. Then every 15,000mi after unless you change it, then mileage starts over. MGL
it may not be the sending unit. some pacs had this issue cause of bad cluster.so i'd make sure your cluster is %100 good before trying the sending unit.you can buy a cluster from e bay for less than $50 and try it out.since the cluster is not the part that stores the mileage you don't have to worry about adjusting the mileage...hope this helps
It will the same mileage of the new cluster you installed. mileage recorded on the cluster not on the ECU I'm sure about this 100% It will the same mileage of the new cluster you installed. mileage recorded on the cluster not on the ECU I'm sure about this 100% It will the same mileage of the new cluster you installed. mileage recorded on the cluster not on the ECU I'm sure about this 100%
Usually the cluster has failed. You will need a new one, or a used one that has the same mileage showing.
Hard starting, loss of power, poor fuel mileage, a blowing sound under hard acceleration, and the converter will get very, very, hot.
The mileage is stored in the BCM not the cluster, so you can replace the cluster without changing the odometer reading.
