Yes. Surely physics controls what we do. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This is what we are seeing in our daily life. There are many other things where physics plays an important role in what we do.

No. The biochemistry of human though initiates our (voluntary) actions. This has its roots in the functioning of the brain. Certainly when we move, it's applied physics, or biophysics. But control? That's not a physical phenomenon. The mind is an awesome biochemical engine.
