There are two things that the body accomplishes by sweating. The first is that sweating cools down the body. The second is that is gets rid of wastes and helps maintain homeostasis.
Sweating is the evaporation process that cools the body. When sweat evaporates from the skin, it removes heat from the body, thus helping to regulate its temperature.
Sweating cools the body by evaporating off the skin, which helps to dissipate heat and lower body temperature.
