Check the blower motor and controls in the central air unit. If it's belt driven, it could just be a bad belt. If it's direct drive, the motor could have failed. If you don't have experience with that kind of equipment, call a professional.
You mean the outside unit is running and blowing but the inside unit is not blowing? Shut it off! Who ain't blowing? Elaborate please..
the compressor is not running. Check your breakers.
If your air conditioner is running outside by not blowing cold air inside through your vent, your indoor coil is frozen. You will need to turn everything off and allow the unit to thaw out.
low on refrigerant or the compressor isn't running..
The first thing to check is that the outside unit is running. That the compressor and the Fan is running. If they are running, then have the Freon pressure in the system checked. You may be low on coolant.
Usually compressor not running or low on refrigerant. And yes it is supposed to be warm
Is it a central unit? check and see if the fan and compressor are running in the outdoor unit. The system may be low on freon or the compressor may not be running. It is best to call a qualified HVAC technician.
Check the capacitor located inside the outside condensing unit, usually the fan, compressor are wired together,if one is running the other should be running
The problem is probably outside. Can`t tell you much more than that from here. The condenser unit outside was not running. I checked the circuit breaker box and found the 220 breaker had been switched off. Turned it back on and now it's running and I'm getting cool air.
If you have a leaking exhaust system yes, also if the windows are rolled down you could get fumes into the car, depending on the way the wind is blowing.
It could be that the unit is overcharged and the compressor is shutting down on overload. Check to see if the compressor is running when the hot air starts blowing.
did you try blowing it
